- Q. Why does my Start Menu have alignment problems?
- A. The usual cause of alignment problems is the use of high DPI settings. Open your display properties dialog and go to "Settings/Advanced" and check that your DPI is set to 96 or 72. Higher numbers will often cause alignment problems with various Windows elements.

- Q. Where can I learn about customizing my computer?
- A. Many skinning software sites have excellent tutorials, forums and instructions to help you get the most from their skinnable programs. There are also many excellent websites like www.wincustomize.com that will provide contact with a vast community of skinners and enthusiasts as well as helpful articles and links.

- Q. When I download a suite, I get a file that my computer doesn't recognize.
- A. Some browsers have trouble with downloading certain types of files. The best solution is to use Internet Explorer for downloading the skin suites. Premium suites download as an executable file (PixOS.EXE for example) and other skins are in .zip file format. You may need to install a zip file utility to uncompress the zip files. Windows XP has this built-in but you can also use a third-party zip utility like WinZip (http://www.winzip.com/)

- Q. May I use the graphics in these skins on my website, make a new matching skin or post them for download?
- A. You may not use any Pixtudio graphics without getting written permission first. This extends to re-distribution of free skins or graphics. Everything on www.pixtudio.com is copyrighted and protected by international copyright laws.

- Q. I want my screen to look just like your screenshot.
- A. Sometimes your screen resolution will be smaller or larger than the resolution we used when making the theme. In some cases this will cause the theme to display differently than it does in our screenshot. If you want the identical look you might have to change your screen resolution to the setting the theme was designed for.

- Q. I don't have a credit card. Can I use another payment method?
- A. No, at this point in time we have the one system in place for payment.

- Q. How do I apply the skins once I have the programs installed?
- A. Every program has its own method for installing skins. Our premium suites come with a helpful set of instructions and each piece of software also has instructions on how to apply the skins. The best advice is to study the instructions for each program.

- Q. Do I need any other programs to use the skins?
- A. Every skinning format requires software to apply the skin. We do not create or distribute the skinning software. On our site you will find links to download the programs necessary to apply the skins. Many of these programs are free. Some must be purchased to activate all the functions.

- Q. Can I purchase individual components of suites?
- A. Sorry, we know that some people do not use all the components at one time (though many do) but the only way we can market the premium suites is as a whole.
